Configuring Remediation

Validation can run additional scripts to remediate any potential issues that are found during the migration.

A remediation script is called when a Validation Rule is triggered and a corresponding Remediation is set.

A remediation script can pause the validation or run in the background as the validation continues to go through all the configured rules.

Creating a Remediation Script includes the command line to remove a program, file, or action to remove the condition of the rule.

Swimage has logging built into the Validation Tool and is recommended that all remediation scripts and validation scripts have logging included.

NOTE:  Please contact Swimage for more information regarding the Validation Tool and its use.
